behind lulu + Co I relocated my family to my home state of Minnesota (like all good Minnesotans eventually do) in 2019 after living in Colorado for 22 years. There I received my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Denver and an MAFA in Ceramics from Regis University. My art practice is rooted in both of these loves, trying to marry the two in each piece. I split my creative making between my main workplace, PiM Arts High School, where I’m lucky enough to run their 3D Arts program, my secondary workplace, Forma Community Clayroom, where I make with my incredibly creative ceramic minded peers, and my home studio, nestled in my 102 year old basement with a cozy apt for my doggo built in for company. Upstairs one can usually find my other dog, my husband and my teenage daughter (THE Lulu) while my son has made his way back to Colorado for college. I love clay + I love design.
